What is KINVOKE?
KINVOKE (verb)
kin·voke | /kin-ˈvōk/
A fusion of kin - the felt sense of connection, community, and shared humanity, and invoke - to summon, to awaken, to call forth.
To KINVOKE is to awaken embodied connection: to oneself, to others, and to a greater purpose.
It is the practice of activating belonging through the body, summoning presence through sensation, and moving with the intention to connect, create, and lead from the inside out.
KINVOKE is not just a movement, it is a remembering. A return to the wisdom of the body and the power of collective and co-creative embodiment.

Mission & Vision
KINVOKE is a Movement Collective and Embodied Leadership Playground that exists to inspire, connect and support embodied and somatic facilitators and movers.
MISSION
Our mission is to offer a collective container for the exchange of embodied tools, creative resources, and community-centered learning that supports personal expression, professional growth, and joyful connection.
VISION
We envision a world where embodied movement is a catalyst for liberation; where power, play, and purpose are reclaimed through the body; and communities thrive through shared presence, creativity, and care.
Power | Play | Purpose
KINVOKE is the culmination and convergence of three essential forces:
POWER – Clear. Confident. Embodied.
PLAY – Expressive. Alive. Inviting.
PURPOSE – Soulful. Reflective. Grounded.
These energies are more than concepts, they are embodied ways of being that shape how we move, create, lead, and connect.
Where they intersect, something potent emerges: a space where truth lives in the body, leadership is felt not forced, and liberation becomes a lived experience.
At KINVOKE, we move from this center. With boldness. With presence. With soul.

Meet the Founders of KINVOKE
KINVOKE was born from a shared desire to reimagine embodied leadership, rooted in integrity, fueled by creative expression, and held in community.
Dana Hood, Lola Manekin, and Christina Mae Wolf, are three movement guides, facilitators, and soul-driven space holders who crossed paths through the Nia Technique and went on to forge their own unique paths in the world of somatics, healing, and personal transformation.
Together, they weave decades of experience in dance, yoga, breathwork, entrepreneurship, and multidimensional healing arts.
Each brings their own flavor - fiery, fierce, tender, intuitive, soulful - yet what unites them is a shared devotion to liberation through the body, and a deep belief in the power of embodied facilitators to ignite meaningful change.
KINVOKE is their love letter to those who are ready to move and lead differently. This is a space where we rise together: sovereign, connected, and free.

KINVOKE Core Values

POWER
We move with unapologetic presence and teach from truth. Power, for us, is about sovereignty, clarity, and deep self-trust - not performance. It’s the courage to own your voice and take up space with purpose.

PLAY
We laugh, sweat, shake, and create. Play is our portal to freedom, connection, and possibility. It keeps us real, joyful, and open to what wants to emerge.

PURPOSE
Our work is rooted in calling, not conformity. Every class, every training, every space is designed with intention to support ongoing growth and unfolding.

AUTHENTICITY
We lead from what’s real, not what’s rehearsed.
Authenticity means living and leading in alignment with our values, our bodies, and our truth. We honor nuance, sensation, vulnerability, and voice as portals to power.

CONNECTION
We create brave space where kinship is cultivated, difference is honored, and rising happens together. We believe leadership is a collective act, and community is the container.

CREATIVITY
We honor creativity as a sacred force - a sovereign spark that moves through sensation, rhythm, sound, and space. Rooted in realness and inspiration, creativity is how we listen, respond, and give voice to what’s ready to emerge.
